The electric motor will feature a new state-of-the-art lighting system.

Vaxhaull’s Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD headlamps use 50,000 individual elements and a camera to enhance visibility and ensure that other drivers aren’t dazzled by the car’s bright lights.

The Grandland also boasts high-tech safety features such as rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist and a 360-degree surround-view parking camera.

The popular car brand hopes these safety measures improve the driving experience, particularly in urban environments.

Inside the new SUV, there is a lot of technology drivers can use to assist with driving.

A mounted 10-inch infotainment touchscreen features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across all of the new models.

The GS and Ultimate variants boast a larger 16-inch touchscreen.

Vaxhaull claims their brand new motor offers not just efficiency but also performance.

Drivers will be able to choose from three modes to optimise the vehicle’s energy recovery and range.

The Grandland can go from 0-62mph in just nine seconds.

The price for these models is set to start at £40,995 for the Electric Design with the most expensive being the Electric Ultimate costing £45,195.

It comes after a popular car firm unveiled its new electric SUV which is set to become the “UK’s most affordable EV”.

And car giant BMW has promised a “new era” for its electric vehicles after announcing an impressive new all-electric SUV.
