THIS is the moment an electric car went up in flames after a huge fire erupted.
The car was parked up in East Londonthis morning when it was destroyed by fire.



Early reports suggest the car was on Cavendish Drive, Leytonstone, with the fire starting before 8am.
The blaze was so fierce that two properties nearby and another car were damaged by the heat from the fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The road is said to have been closed for a number of hours as the fire brigade dealt with the blaze.
Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact the police.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said:“Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters tackled a car fire on Cavendish Drive in Leytonstone.
“One electric car was destroyed by fire. One further car and two nearby properties were partially damaged by heat from the fire.
“There are currently no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received over 10 calls to this fire, with the first call received at 07.50.
“Control Officers mobilised crews from Leyton and Leytonstone fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 08.11.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
